VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

Acting on a tip last Thursday, Valdosta Police Narcotics Agents stopped a vehicle traveling in the 800 block of South Saint Augustine Road.

The driver identified himself as 50 year old John Demore, but he turned out to be 42 year old Daniel Demore.

They searched Demore’s vehicle and found a huge cache of narcotics packaged for sale.

Agents found $1,600 in cash, and what could be described as a rolling drug warehouse, including:

Marijuana
10 'hits' of LSD impregnated paper
18.2 grams of Butanediol
113 Alprazolam pills
26 Oxycodone pills
15 grams of Dronabinol
4 grams of Methamphetamine
Various prescription drugs classified as dangerous
Narcotics sales and distribution equipment

"This arrest is one of many over the past few months by the Narcotics Unit, who continue to work with our community to rid the city of illegal drugs," said VPD Chief Brian Childress. "I am very proud of this unit whom, once they receive a tip, take action to follow up and investigate that information. This is truly community policing."

Demore faces a long list of felonies, and is in the Lowndes County jail.
