THOMAS CO., GA (WALB) - A murder trial set to begin this week is now being continued for a second time.
Wade Jackson was to stand trial for the May 2014 death of 53 year old Sharlene Steadman.
The original trial was continued because a witness wasn't able to be present in court.
The new trial date was set for this week.
It was rescheduled for the same reason involving a different witness.
Steadman was found dead at her home in May from blunt force trauma to the head.
As of now, Jackson is in the state prison on charges of murder, armed robbery, aggravated assault, and burglary.
