MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) - Folks in Moultrie could see a bit of construction going on in their yard.
Public Works crews are working to remove the in-ground trash bins around the city.
Back in October, the city switched to a roll out trash bin system.
5,000 in-ground liners now have to be removed.
Public works said the process could take a while.
"We're estimating between one and two years. Once it's finished it should be pretty seamless," said David Ward, Public Works Director.
Crews will fill the holes and cover up the area near these in-ground bins as they are removed.
