ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany State University students who may want to become educators got to have face time with potential employers Thursday afternoon.
ASU Career Services held their annual spring career fair for students looking to get into the education field.
45 school districts, some as far as Denver and New York, attended the job fair.
They held two separate sessions.
One for the general student body and another for College of Education upcoming graduates.
They have 75 students that will graduate in May.
School officials said they had some recent ASU graduates who were at the fair recruiting students.
"We have two specific alumni who have come back that are actually recruiting students at their respective schools. We have Camden County as well as Monroe County schools represented and each of those are practically some recent ASU graduates now," said ASU Career Services Director Tracy Williams.
Albany State school leaders said most students walk away with job offers from the career fair.
