ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The Eastside Pet Salon's dog park on Gillionville is now open.

This is the first day the park has been opened since it was badly damaged in January.

They also have a new sign they recently put up.

The owner tells us they are very excited, but says they are still dealing with some damage.

"We do have an area that's fenced off that they're still doing some work on, by afternoons the construction guys are pretty much out of here. But the park is wide open for you to play in. You're not going to have any interference with workers," said owner Donna Lesperance.

If you would like to go they are accepting new members.

Just bring a copy of your dog's shot records.
