Bainbridge hit and run suspect turns himself in

BAINBRIDGE, GA (WALB) -

The man Bainbridge Public Safety were looking for in two separate hit-and-run incidents involving pedestrians on Saturday night turned himself in Monday.

Anthony Williams, 35, is now in custody.

The first occurred around 11 p.m. on Bruton Street, followed only minutes later by an incident on Potter Street.

Both victims were transported to the hospital. One victim has been released. The other victim is still in the hospital in Tallahassee recovering from a neck injury.

The vehicle believed to be involved in the incident has been recovered.
