ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Storm relief continued in South Georgia nearly two months since a deadly tornado swept through.

People got to enjoy a carnival style atmosphere while also supporting storm survivors Sunday afternoon.

They called it the "Good Life City Give Back Disaster Relief Community Carnival."

Organizers invited kids affected by the storms and their parents so they could have a day to unwind from the recent events.

"Being with the recent tornado that came through, we kind of all decided to do something that everybody could relax and have fun and just kind of forget about it," said Craig Drye, a volunteer.

The carnival featured a DJ and bouncy houses plus free food.
