Albany Chamber accepting small business of the year nominations

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Do you have a business that provides an exceptional service or product? The Albany chamber wants your nominations!

It's Georgia's small business week, and the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce is accepting small business of the year nominations.

The criteria includes being a chamber member and having 100 or fewer employees.

They're also looking for companies that are innovative and make an impact on the community. 

Royal Collection, a ladies apparel and accessories store, was named top small business in 2016. 

"It really tells the story of Albany businesses, please consider nominations. It's an incredible way to showcase the talent and the innovative businesses that we have here. The scope of business services available. And also to promote your business," said Chamber President & CEO Barbara Rivera Holmes. 

The Albany Area Chamber of Commerce will be accepting small business of the year nominations until March 24th.

The winner will be announced on May 2nd.
