THOMAS CO., GA (WALB) - The treehouse advocacy center in Thomasville is trying a new fundraiser in hopes to raise money for victim services.
The center will host a dinner event called 'Farm to Fork' in April.
The dinner will feature meals made from local crops.
Event organizers hope that it will attract several hundred people.
"This is a way for us to incorporate all the local businesses and local growers and farmers. To support them like we hope the community supports us."Dr. Beth Geer, Medical Director of Treehouse Advocacy Center
The money from the fundraiser will go towards providing victims' exams and other services at no charge.
Tickets are still available for the event.
