ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Business leaders in Albany and from across the country learned how they can do business with NASA.

The Albany Chamber of Commerce hosted a NASA Space and Military Business Forum on Thursday.

The chamber said that there are several different opportunities to work with NASA as a NASA supplier, subcontractor or service provider.

"Space exploration isn't just about being an astronaut or a physicist or any of what we might typically think. It requires a variety of business services to support the space program," said Albany Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Barbara Rivera Holmes.

Different services needed to support the space program include marketing, cleaning, electrical and engineering services.

Holmes said it speaks highly of Albany for NASA to pick the Good Life City for Thursday's forum.
