DOUGLAS, GA (WALB) - The Coffee County Sheriff's Office arrested a Douglas man who is believed to be responsible for burglarizing a residence earlier this week in the Green Acres community.
38-year-old Perry Frank Rice, of Jasmine Drive, was located Wednesday, and booked into the Coffee County Jail about 6:00 p.m.
Deputies responded to a burglary call on Greenfield Circle Monday. The victim returned home that evening and discovered several TVs and other items with an estimated total value of over $1,000 were missing.
The home's front door appeared to have been damaged, and one room was ransacked.
The victim suggested Rice as a possible suspect, and another witness said they had seen Rice in the possession of a number of items matching the description of those taken from the victim's home.
Rice faces one charge of first degree burglary.
