Walmart con artists sought by SPD

SYLVESTER, GA (WALB) -

Sylvester Police are looking for a man and a woman who stole $1,400 worth of thermostats from Walmart, and then tried to get refunds for them. It happened Monday night, March 13, about 8:00.

The woman walked out of the store with several stolen items, and got into an older model Chevrolet Trailblazer that was waiting at the front of the store.

Minutes later, a man got out of the truck with a bag containing seven thermostats, and tried to get a refund for them.

Store staff refused to give a refund, then soon, the woman came back, attempting to get a refund.

This time she showed a driver’s license with the name of Alexandra Reed Thomas. She is a white woman, age 23, height 5' 4",  107 pounds, with green eyes and brown hair, with a Dothan, Alabama address.

The vehicle seen on video is an older Chevrolet Trailblazer, tan color, with a gray door on driver’s side.

Two other people suspected of stealing from Walmart in Albany and Sylvester were arrested in Alabama two weeks ago.
