ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A staple in Albany's community that was damaged by the January storms is back up and running.
The Tift Park Community Market has more than 20 vendors set up at its temporary location, the women's professional health building on 5th avenue.
This is the second Saturday the market has been opened there.
Vendors say the market's re-opening is a step toward getting the city back to normal.
"It's a great community event. There is not that many things that are free and this is. It's a great opportunity, there's great fellowship here. There's a lot of people every Saturday that come get their produce," said Karen Fordham, vendor.
The temporary market will now be open every Saturday from 9 am to 2 pm.
