According to police, officials responded to Dervan Street and South Jackson Street around 1:37 p.m. on Saturday.

When they arrived, they found Lewis with a gunshot wound, he was taken to the hospital and later died from his injuries.

The case is still under investigation.

Holsey had his first appearance Friday morning and was denied bond.

The Dougherty District Attorney said police are investigating the incident as a "gang interaction murder."

Investigators believe the shooting came out of an interaction between the Bloods and the Rattlers and several people witnessed it.
