CRISP CO., GA (WALB) -

The Crisp County Sheriff's Office thanked anonymous tips for several recent drug arrests.

On Facebook, the office announced that the past week and a half has been full of drug arrests.

Nearly 10 people were arrested in relation to illegal drugs and alcohol.

Deputies said it's important to remember that if you call to report a crime, you don't have to give your name.

"Without the anonymous calls, we wouldn't be able to fully do our job right," said Maj. John Wiggins. "We depend on the citizens of Cordele to call in and file complaints."

One of the public's complaints led to the recent arrests at G & P Tires on West 14th Avenue in Cordele.

Drug agents seized crack cocaine and hydrocodone along with three guns, and arrested several people.
