CAMILLA, GA (WALB) - A Camilla gas station is selling premium gas for the first time in a month.
After the Department of Agriculture tested the gas, chemists found water in the fuel.
Tuesday afternoon the pumps were unlocked, and folks could fill up their tanks once again at the Exxon.
The Department of Agriculture gave the station owner the "OK" this morning.
The station manager said he thinks it was a bad load of fuel.
That was out of his control.
Since the incident a professional company empties and cleaned the tanks.
"We got a fresh load of gas, and the state department came back and tested it. It came back positive. So we are happy to be back in business, and I am sorry for anyone's loss," said Exxon gas station manager Safi Ullah.
The station plans to continue to check the fuel when it comes in to make sure this does not happen again.
