DOUGLAS, GA (WALB) - Coffee County Sheriff Doyle Wooten said Tuesday that officers arrested a suspected cocaine and marijuana dealer last week, after they searched his Douglas home.
Detectives with the Douglas-Coffee Drug Unit, with assistance from the Douglas Police Department, Coffee County Sheriff's Office, Georgia State Probation Office, and H.E.A.T officers, searched the Magnolia Street residence of Ellars James Manning last Wednesday.
Manning, 28, saw them coming, and ran out of the house, trying to get away, but was later apprehended.
Searchers found significant quantities of cocaine and marijuana, illicit prescription medications, and a stolen semi-automatic pistol.
Manning faces multiple felony charges including trafficking cocaine, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, three counts of possession of Schedule II substance, and theft by receiving stolen property.
