ALBANY, GA (WALB) - This week, tree experts from across Georgia will help out with potential tree problems in Albany.
Arborists with the Georgia Forestry Commission and Sustainable Community Forestry Program will be in Albany Monday through Wednesday.
The team members are certified to help communities evaluate damaged trees after a storm.
They'll focus on Tift Park, Flint River Golf Course and the Historic District.
The strike team will evaluate storm damaged publicly-owned trees, collect data and determine if pruning or removal efforts are needed.
