AMERICUS, GA (WALB) - Americus Police are investigating the second armed robbery at O'Reilly Auto Parts in less than three months.
Around 8:30 p.m. Monday, police said two armed robbers wearing all black entered the store on East Lamar Street with guns, demanding money.
APD Maj. Herman Lamar said the robbers forced the employees into the bathroom and told them to wait.
They got away with an unknown amount of money.
Police do not know where the robbers went when they left the store, or whether they had a car waiting for them.
The investigation is ongoing.
