Albany police have arrested a woman in connection with a stabbing that killed a man on Christmas morning.

Police say Dacy Robinson was stabbed to death after an argument with Crystal Hayes.

The two lived together in the mobile home park.

"I didn't know about it until the kids came and told me earlier. I knew them but I didn't think nothing was going on," said Jacqulyn Calloway.

Jacqulyn Calloway lives in the neighborhood, she says the stabbing happened just steps from her home.

Despite this crime, she still likes the neighborhood.

"I feel safe. Everybody out here gets along. The kids get along. They are out here playing basketball and having fun, mostly. If they come over, we let them play monopoly and play games. It's a friendly neighborhood," said Calloway.

In the past year, Albany has seen a record high number of homicides.

This one, happening on Christmas day, will mark the 13th homicide for the year.

This is the 4th case involving domestic violence.

Calloway says she believes you never know what people are like behind closed doors.

"I didn't know them that well. They just really moved in. I talked to them when I see them. They would come down here and everything would be cool," said Calloway.
