Albany Police Department's Robbery/Homicide Unit has identified the body found early Sunday morning.

According to officials, Dacy Demond Robinson, 39, and Crystal Hayes, 39, lived together on the 600 block of Johnson Road.

Just before 3:00 a.m. the two got into an argument which led to Robinson striking Hayes several times.

During the struggle, Hayes retrieved a knife and stabbed Robinson multiple times. He then stumbled outside the home, fell to the ground and died from his injuries.

Hayes was arrested and is now in the Dougherty County Jail.

The case still remains under investigation.
