DOUGHERTY CO., GA (WALB) -

One man is under arrest and police are searching for another for questioning in the theft of equipment from a Dougherty County business.

Around 5:20 Tuesday morning, police were called to investigate suspicious people around businesses in the 3000 block of Sylvester Road.

Inside their truck, police found mobile home tires and axles belonging to Wayne Frier Home Center.

Officers caught Kelly Bowen, 46, from Vienna and charged him with theft by taking.

Another man ran.

Now, Dougherty County Police are looking for Conner Dickerson, 21, from Rex.

"It probably wasn't their first time coming to that facility. And it appears from what we have gathered from out of the vehicle they have been doing other illegal activities. Probably committing thefts or burglaries with the tools we found in the vehicle," said Captain Tom Jackson with the Dougherty County Police.

Anyone with any information about Conner Dickerson is asked to call CrimeSTOPPERS at (229) 436-TIPS.
