VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - The holiday season is well underway especially at Wild Adventures Theme Park.
On select days, guests can enjoy all kinds of festivities during Wild Adventures Christmas.
From Saturday, December 17, 2016, through Sunday, January 1, 2017, guests can enjoy all kinds of holiday fun.
"It's a different energy at Christmas. It's fun, it's a little more laid back, a little more relaxed, certainly not as warm," Wild Adventures Public Relations Manager Laurie Windham said.
Holiday festivities include visits with Safari Santa and Mrs. Claus, Tinker the Talking Christmas Tree, and Mrs. Claus' Kitchen where guests can buy their own smores kits and make treats by a warm fire.
"We have the living Nativity that's actually acted out onstage with actors," Windham added.
The park is also helping guests give back this holiday season.
Those who donate a new, unwrapped toy valued at $10 or more will be handed a "Buy One Get One Free Admission Pass" that can be used at the park.
"Make a smore, drink some hot chocolate, listen to some music, and just really enjoy that time. And don't forget about what Christmas is all about," Windham said.
Wild Adventures will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
