ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Albany Firefighters are escorting Santa Claus through Phoebe Putney Hospital right now to deliver Christmas gifts.

These are some of the toys Albany Fire Department employees donated for children in the hospital this Christmas season.
For the fourth year in a row, firefighters will drive Santa to the hospital in a fire truck and accompany him to meet the young patients.

Battalion Chief Keith Ambrose said "We're going up there. The kids are sick, they might be in there all the way through Christmas.  We just want them to know that the firemen are always there.  And we care about them and we want to let them know we love them.  And Santa Claus is coming to see them."

Firefighters will drive Santa to the hospital in a fire truck for his visit.
