GBI investigates person struck by train

COFFEE CO., GA (WALB) -

Some portions of roads in rural Coffee County are closed this morning after a person on the rail road track was struck by a train, over night.

The Coffee County Sheriff's office confirms that there was a collision.

Unofficial sources say the scene is near Ambrose Road, Palmetto Road, and Dennis Harper Road

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation's Douglas post is handling the investigation. 

The investigative is still active.

The agency will give information later today.
