Moody area will rumble tonight

(USAF) (USAF)
LOWNDES CO., GA (WALB) -

U.S. Air Force personnel will be conducting aerial training at Grand Bay Bombing and Gunnery Range, between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. tonight.

If training is cancelled or delayed due to weather the training will be moved to Wednesday, Dec. 7, during the same hours.

The practice will produce plenty of noise in Valdosta and surrounding areas, as war fighters hone their skills.

Military personnel regularly use the range and its surrounding airspace for tactical air and ground maneuvers, as well as weapons training.

The U.S. Air Force Reserve also uses the range and airspace on specified weekends.
