Thomasville shooting suspect arrested in Ohio

THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -

A suspect wanted in connection to a shooting in Thomasville has been found in Ohio. Police say Deaundre McClarin is a suspect in a shooting that happened last Saturday.

A 20-year-old was shot on Bibb Lane.

According to Investigators McClarin was caught during a traffic stop.

"Anytime you have someone who has possession of a firearm and they've actually shot someone,they are considered to be dangerous and a threat to the community," said Captain Maurice Holmes with the Thomasville police Department.

McClarin will be extradited back to Thomasville where he will face charges.
