A new restaurant opened Monday in Albany, with a goal to feed paying customers and those in need.
Panera Bread opened its doors and its drive through window early Monday morning.
They've been serving fresh sandwiches, soups and salads all day.
At the end of the night the bakers won't just throw the food out.
They'll deliver it to non-profit organizations to help feed the hungry.
"It's awesome. It's really awesome to partner and give back. I mean it's just a really good thing to do for people who really need it," said manager Lauren McDaniel.
The restaurant will be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays.
