ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Leaders at Westover High school want to see students thrive, even after graduation.
On Wednesday, seniors attended the first college fair in the school's gym.
There were about 13 colleges represented including Piedmont, George College and Albany State.
They spoke to students about the different programs and the application process.
Some students even got the chance to start their applications.
"This gives them the opportunity to ask those questions that they want to ask to those colleges, and a lot of times the students don't have the chance to go visit the colleges, so we thought we'd bring the colleges to our students," said Guidance Counselor Director Yolanda Skinner.
Skinner hopes to make the career fair an annual event at Westover.
