WALB showed surveillance video of a group of shoplifters stealing hundreds of dollars worth of electronics from the Target in Albany.
APD says Ashley Anderson was picked around 2:00 p.m. Thursday. They say she is one of the three individuals connected to the shoplifting incident at Target Saturday.
In that crime, three people, apparently working as a team, took three Play Station 4 systems from the shelves.
They took them to the clothing section, unpacked the systems, loaded them into bags and left without going through checkout.
They showed a receipt as they went out the door.
Police said that they could be professionals, who use the same pattern at chain stores in different cities.
"They go to the same store, just in different areas. So it's something we can expect during the holiday season," said Albany Police Chief Michael Persley.
Anyone who recognizes any of the people in the surveillance video, or has any information about the theft of the game systems is asked to call CrimeSTOPPERS at (229) 436-TIPS.
