ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A Northwest Albany motel was damaged in a Molotov cocktail attack.

Albany Fire Department arson investigators are still reviewing surveillance video of the fire bombing.

It happened around 2:15 a.m. on Monday at the Superior Creek Lodge in the 2500 block of North Slappey.

Investigators said that a man threw a plastic bottle containing gasoline with a fire wick in the neck against a door inside the motel.

The fire did about $8,000 in damage, but no one was injured.
