ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Habitat for Humanity has made it it's mission to have families in houses throughout the community in homes for the holidays.
The organization partnered with Another Level Motorcycle Club and First Presbyterian Church of Albany to completely remodel a house for a family in need.
Every room was gutted to start from scratch. They will be working on it for the next few weeks.
"The fellowship is awesome. Just getting together with people you don't know and meet new people. It's like one big family coming together to help accomplish one main goal," said Nicole Snipes, motorcycle club member.
Workers say the project has brought them a new group of people to call family for the holiday season.
"Help transform the city of Albany, one family, one home at a time. That's why we're here, it's the right thing to do," said First Presbyterian Church Pastor Joshua Bower.
The goal is to have the home complete for the family to move into by Christmas.
