Cordele Police search for Dollar General armed robber

CORDELE, GA (WALB) -

Cordele Police are searching for a man who robbed the Dollar General on South 7th Street just before 9 p.m. on Tuesday.

According to officials, a man wearing a mask and a camo hoodie robbed the store with a handgun and got away with an undetermined amount of cash.

No one was injured.

The robber left the store on foot.

Officials said that if anyone saw a man fitting the robber's description between 8:30 p.m. and 9 p.m., they should contact the Cordele Police Department.
