ALBANY, GA (WALB) - You may be ready to travel for the holidays... but is your car ready for the trip?
This holiday season, mechanics urge drivers to check their oil, other fluids and tire pressure before hitting the road.
If your car has any warning lights on the dash, bring it in for a quick check at the shop to avoid a disaster on the road.
"It's better for them to catch a small problem before you get on the road and it becomes a big problem," said Tom Gieryic, owner of Gieryic Auto Repair.
Gieryic also reminds drivers to have their battery checked.
The colder weather can cause batteries to drain faster.
