ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The Boys & Girls Club of Albany is kicking of its first end of the year fundraising campaign, hoping to raise $25,000.

The money will help keep membership fees low and support day-to-day operations.

The club depends on donations to serve kids in the community.

"One, they are going to see a quantifiable social return on their investment and that's what they are making is an investment in the lives of young people. But two, it's also important for them because any donations that are made to us are tax deductible," explained Boys & Girls Club of Albany President Marvin Laster.

You can support the drive by donating use cash or credit cards or text to donate to this code: BGCALB to 91999.
