ALBANY, GA (WALB) - If you're looking to get the kids out of the house so you can prepare for thanksgiving or start your holiday shopping, you're in luck.
The Flint Riverquarium and Thronateeska Heritage center are holding a camp to help parents out.
The first day was today but they are offering another one tomorrow from one to four for kids ages 6 to 11.
The theme is all things autumn.
Kids will enjoy crafts and games about the season.
They'll also learn about hibernation, winter constellations and why leaves change colors.
"It's great for the parents because it gives them a break, they can do some Christmas shopping or before Black Friday shopping and it's great for the kids because it gives them something fun to do. They can come hangout with the animals and do cool crafts," education manager Malloree Lanier said.
