Smithville man charged with selling drugs out of home

SMITHVILLE, GA -

The Lee County Sheriff's Office narcotics team arrested a 64-year-old Smithville man, charging him with selling drugs from his home.

William Buck III was arrested on Main Street in Smithville on Thursday, after the narcotics team got information he had bought drugs in Americus. 

Drug agents said that they bought drugs at his home on Pine Street and later arrested him, charging him with possession of cocaine and marijuana with intent to distribute.  

Officials seized a quarter ounce of crack cocaine, two ounces of marijuana and drug tools.

Drug agents said that they have arrested Buck several times.
