ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Cleanup continues after water damage at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
Early last Thursday morning, someone tampered with the fire pump system, causing damage in patient rooms and other areas on three floors of the hospital.
Contractors are still working around the clock to clean up and make sure there is no contamination.
Phoebe issued a statement to us this afternoon saying no one was injured.
19 patients were safely moved to other areas of the hospital or were discharged.
They're not sure now much longer the cleanup will take.
