ALBANY, GA (WALB) - As we enter the holiday season, Albany businesses are joining together to prevent crime.
Wednesday night, owners talked with Albany Police at the last business watch meeting of the year.
Officers say sharing information is a key to tracking and preventing crimes.
They also gave out decals to show businesses are affiliated with police.
"There's a network, there's a partnership," said Phyllis Banks of APD. "So that we all can work together as one to share information and make a huge force against criminals."
Albany Police say crime often increases around the holidays, so businesses need to be on high alert.
