ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Harvey's supermarkets across South Georgia unveiled their re-vitalized stores and are lower prices on Wednesday.
The company says they listened to customers' concerns to come up with the plan.
They cut prices on more than three thousand items.
The stores also have a new $1 section and a pick five for $19.99 that includes traditionally more expensive items like meats.
"Many of our customers are very budget minded. They are value oriented. They are looking for great process and great savings and Harvey's has many ways to save now for our customers," Harvey's regional vice president of operations, Ken Wicker said.
The stores also have a new produce department that brings in fresh items from more than 90 local farms.
