ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Law enforcement agencies kicked off the Click it or Ticket statewide campaign.

It will run through the Thanksgiving holiday.

Albany Police encourage holiday travelers to leave early, never drive when drowsy and make sure everyone wears a seatbelt.

Last year, a big issue was child restraint violations.

"We are the parents, we got to make sure their restrained. It is our responsibility and if their not restrained then expect to go ahead and get that ticket," said APD Lieutenant William Dowdell.

The Click it or Ticket campaign runs through November 27th.
