An Albany business owner says he will re-open his closed restaurant, in a new area.
Smoke and Fire will move to East Albany in the new year.
Owner Glenn Eames confirms he will re-open the ribs and fire baked pizza restaurant on East Broad Avenue near Five Points.
Eames says he'll have a new business model, including being open for breakfast and lunch with a drive-thru window.
He plans to target employees at the Marine Base, Miller, Albany State, and Proctor & Gamble.
Eames said "Because they don't have a whole lot of choices at lunch time, other than fast food. Also hopefully we can kind of fill that niche."
Eames said he knows his food is good and believes the smaller business model will make him more profitable.
The plan is to re-open in January.
