ARC kicks off Annual Turkey & Angel Tree Drive

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

You can help people with disabilities enjoy the holidays.

The Albany Advocacy Resource Center is kicking off their Turkey and Angel Tree drive.

It will provide turkeys, hams and Christmas presents to more than 400 clients with disabilities.

"This is just a huge part of what we do about providing you know a warm environment and a home feeling for several individuals that might not otherwise have family to go to on Thanksgiving or Christmas," said ARC's Deputy Director DeAnna Julian.

Last year, ARC handed out more than 300 gift cards to buy holiday meals and gave more than 200 presents.
