Veterans now have a room to call their own if they check into Phoebe's Wilson Hospice House.
On Friday the hospice house dedicated one of the 18 suites to those who have served our stars and stripes.
Twenty percent of Phoebe hospice patients are veterans so they felt it would be a good place for them to find comfort.
The room is decorated with a painting from a local artist.
It also has shelves full of war history books.
The regional executive director of the hospice house Jennifer Stephens said she hopes veterans will find pleasure in the room.
"At the end of their life I think it will bring them comfort to know that they are receiving a heroes welcome for bringing service to our country," Stephens said.
One veteran moved into the room Friday.
He was a prisoner of war during World War II.
