THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - A man who Thomasville police called "armed and dangerous" during their search Thursday has turned himself in.
Police were searching for Kimmons because they believed he committed several violent acts involving a firearm.
They believe Kimmons approached a man and pointed a gun in his face demanding to hand over items.
Kimmons turned himself in to authorities without incident.
Friday night, officers said they also arrested Demario Riles, who they say was an accomplice to these crimes.
"We considered him to be as anytime you're firing a firearm at people you're extremely reckless at your conduct and this kind of person we have to get off the streets immediately," said Capt. Maurice Holmes, Thomasville PD.
Police said both Kimmons and Riles robbed two people on Fern and Wright Street this week and fired shots during the hold ups.
The victims weren't hurt but he got away with hundreds of dollars and cell phones.
