WALB - The Dougherty County School System's athletic director said he is awaiting results from a complaint filed against Lee County to the GHSA.
Johnny Seabrooks filed a recruiting allegations complaint following seven athletes transferring from Albany schools to Lee county this fall.
Seabrooks told WALB he is not accusing Lee County of any wrongdoing, but he wants to make sure everything is fine.
According to Seabrooks, the complaint was filed a few months ago.
Lee county football coach Dean Fabrizio told WALB the GHSA already cleared the school of any recruiting violations last week.
"We strongly deny we ever recruited any athletes," said Fabrizio. "They have no evidence. We have already refuted all allegations. The GHSA cleared us of recruiting allegations."
The Trojans finished the year 7-2 and they are in the first round of the playoffs. They play at Evans High School tomorrow night.
