THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - The Thomasville Police Department is searching for a man named Hasani Kimmons.

Officials said he has committed several violent acts involving a firearm within the last couple of days.

They are asking for the public's help to find him and get him into police custody before he commits another violent crime.

Wednesday, in the midst of a bomb threat, and a bank robbery, officers say at 4:30 they got a call about shots fired on Fern and Wright Street.

They believe Kimmons approached a man and pointed a gun in his face demanding to hand over items.

Early Thursday morning, officers were dispatched to Bosser Avenue and Lester Street where another man was robbed at gunpoint.

They believe Kimmons got away with hundreds of dollars in cash and several cell phones.

Officers want to get Kimmons in custody because they believe he is extremely reckless and dangerous.

"Mr. Kimmons is to be considered extremely dangerous, he is armed, and were asking the public for any help in locating this individual. If anyone can talk to him and get him to surrender to authorities," said Capt. Maurice Holmes, TPD.
