ALBANY, GA (WALB) - There will not be a verdict Wednesday night in an Albany double murder trial.
The judge sent the jury home Wednesday night.
Jurors will resume deliberations Thursday morning in the trial of 22-year old Jawaski Kennedy.
He's on trial on 26 counts of murder, aggravated assault and street gang terrorism.
On Wednesday the jury asked to listen to Kennedy's initial statement and one other recording a second time.
Kennedy is one of five men associated with the Westside Rattlers gang accused of firing as many as 50 shots on Willard Avenue at the homes of Southside Bloods gang members in 2013.
William Davis Junior and Desmond Williams were both killed.
Over the past week and a half, witnesses as well as investigators testified.
The other four suspects will be tried later.
