ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The 70th annual Southwest Georgia regional Fair closed Sunday night.
The fair opened Tuesday, and crowds packed the fair grounds all week long.
Organizers brought in even more rides, games, food, and livestock shows this year.
The final number of visitors is expected to reach the record attendance number of 80,000.
The fair's director says it would not be possible without the community coming out.
"I want to thank all of you that have supported our fair not just this year but the 70 years we have been here," said Skip Nichols, Fair Director.
The Exchange Club gives the fair's proceeds to about 30 different charities around Albany each year.
