ALBANY, GA (WALB) - For the second time in less than a month, U.S. Marshals and Dougherty County Sheriff's deputies have captured an out-of-state attempted murder suspect.
Billy Bays, 36, was arrested Wednesday in Albany. He's accused of shooting his girlfriend and her 16-year old son twice each in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in July.
Officials say Bays was hiding out with a friend on Hudson Lane when they captured him.
Investigators say Bays got away from police in Wisconsin during a high speed chase, and rode a bus to Albany.
Bays is being held in the Dougherty Co. jail until Wisconsin officials pick him up.
